WITH YOUTH WORK AGAINST YOUTH PRECARIOUSNESS – pilot project at IRDO!

We are pleased to inform you that the IRDO institute was chosen as one of the many partners for the implementation of the project on the precariousness of young people in Slovenia. The project started in June 2024 and will last until the end of 2026. We will keep you informed about the project’s activities.

BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT

Project duration: From 1st June 2024 to 31st December 2026

Project description: Preparation and implementation of a training program for young people in the field of precariousness with the aim of raising awareness and empowering young people about the issue of precariousness and the importance of labour and social rights, offering advisory assistance and support to young people and implementing project support activities.

Target group: young people aged 15 to 29 on the day of inclusion in the project.

The main activities of the project:

  • preparation and implementation of a training program for young people in the field of precariousness,
  • counselling and support for young people and
  • operation support activities (promotion, training program evaluations, cooperation with the Employment Agency of the Republic of Slovenia, etc.).


Project results, impact and result indicators:

A total of at least 7,870 young people from all over Slovenia will be involved in training for young people in the field of precariousness at the level of all the projects of set B.

  • Project-specific impact indicator: Number of young people aged 15 to 29 included in training for young people in the field of precariousness.

At the project level, at least 130 young people are included in the training program for young people in the field of precariousness.

  • Project-specific result indicator: Share of involved young people who have successfully completed training for young people in the field of precariousness. The indicator measures the percentage of involved young people (at least 80%) who have successfully completed the training program for young people in the field of precariousness.

The indicators must be fully achieved at the end of the project implementation.
